Process Engineer

I currently have an immediate requirement for a client based near to Stockton-on-Tees in the North East. Please find the job spec below:

* A process engineer, with substantial practical experience, which should include process engineering design, plant operations, commissioning and troubleshooting.
* A degree in Chemical Engineering, with chartered status preferred.
* An experienced hazard study practitioner.
* An appreciation of the Health, Safety and Environmental issues on a high hazard (COMAH) site.
* Capable of leading process engineering input on projects of value £20k - £3m, ensuring that objectives are met and that timescales are achieved.
* Experience in heavy chemicals environment desirable (not essential).
* Able to work independently as well as a key member of a Project Team.
* Good communication and presentation skills. Interaction with fellow professionals inproduction/operations roles will be a key skill.

The position will be 6-12 months initially however it is highly likely to extend after this, current contractors with the company for a number of years. The rate for this contract is competative.
