Process Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Will procure and receive manufacturing parts and equipment as directed by management.
- Coordinates cGMP procedures required to implement equipment into the manufacturing laboratories.
- Coordinates continuous improvement of equipment protocols and machinery operation.
- Writes SOP's, Specifications, Validation Protocols and Batch Records.
- Leads or assists with complex production and manufacturing procedures.
- Reliably executes SOP's and Batch Records.
- Accurately documents data.
- Analyzes data and results and presents conclusions.
- Ensures routine maintenance of production equipment is performed.
- Assists other technical personnel on issues and problems.
- Trains lower level personnel and new employees on equipment procedures.
- May assist scale-up and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes.
- Researches and implements new methods and technologies to enhance operations.
- Suggests improvements to existing methods and procedures.
- Maintains cGMP environment to support regulatory compliance.
- Ensures disposal of lab wastes according to established procedures.
- Follows EH&S procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences discipline or equivalent.
- Greater than 4 years relevant experience in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and apply complex technical concepts to manufacturing/production methodology.
- Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, within prescribed guidelines, or as a team member.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed directions in a laboratory environment.
