Because of rapid growth within the department and an exiting projects my client is now looking for a process development engineer. One large project started earlier this week, but I'm still urgently looking for a process development engineer.

The role of process development engineer combines several aspects of pharmaceutical engineering, ranging from process development, process improvement (Lean Six Sigma), validation, QA and QC. You will work in a multidisciplinary team of experts, collaborating with other teams like the Assay development team.

Some of the responsibilities are:

*Defining new and improving processes in the production line
*Initiating experiments to streamline production processes
*Define and implement Critical to Quality indicators
*Setting production standards and setting standards for equipment used in the manufacturing process
*Transfer process development results to the production environment

For this role I'm looking for someone with:

*A degree in Chemical, Process or Biological Engineering or other relevant area
*Provable experience as a process engineer in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
*Experience with Lean Six Sigma (preferably Green- or Blackbelt certified)
*Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
*Knowledge of microbiology and experience working in IVD environments
