Process (Chemical) Engineer Job

PROCESS (CHEMICAL) ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in OVERLAND PARK, KS.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
- Hydroprocessing or alkylation experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The primary role of the contract process engineer is to perform quality reviews of engineering deliverables for both alkylation and hydroprocessing design projects.
- Performs advanced engineering assignments (production, maintenance, process, capital projects, R/D, etc.) involving the application of established engineering principles and often requiring coordination with other specialties to provide economical and expedient solutions to identified problems.
- Provides tactical level process engineering consulting in support of top-line growth, cost effective production design and asset effectiveness improvement programs in one or more specialties.
- While still receiving guidance from experienced engineering consultants and direct supervisors, the Process Engineer is expected to have a sound knowledge of assigned technologies and the ability to apply engineering principles and advanced analytical/modeling tools to detailed problem analysis in recommending innovative and cost-effective solutions to sites or pro

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- B.S. in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience in hydroprocessing and/or alkylation.
- The candidate must be customer oriented, well organized, computer literate with simulation experience, and possess strong technical capability and good oral and written communication skills.
