My client, in the banking arena, is looking for a Process and Change Specialist for a maternity contract. This is a salaried position. Must have Lean experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Encourage a focus on generating improvements linked to team objectives

Facilitate workshops to deliver improvements to sub-processes.

Lead process improvement initiatives/projects.

Support the cultural deployment of Lean behaviour by facilitating the coaching of daily stand-ups and visual management techniques and provide relevant feedback to build a quality standard.

Take ownership for the development and implementation of the Business Process Improvement communications plan including liaising with the Communications department and 3rd party suppliers.

Assist with the planning and delivery of a repeatable programme

Assist with the development and preparation of material for Lean training

Deliver introductory level Lean training

Provide administrative support as required in the documentation of processes and the co-ordination of process improvement initiatives.

Co-ordinate the production of all periodic BPI reports including the monthly dashboard and quarterly Board reporting.

Manage and co-ordinate all communication activities across Operations to deliver key messages to Operations staff and internal customers.

Administer Operations' SharePoint sites, updating content as required

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Qualifications: Recognised Lean qualification, eg Green Belt certified

Process Mapping and business process improvement experience

Education to diploma/certificate level in banking or business related discipline or equivalent professional accounting is desirable.

At least 2 years administration and/or banking experience in a financial services environment. Previous involvement in process optimisation focused on generating and implementing improving ideas*

Excellent MS Office skills to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Experience in clearly communicating information to groups through training and/or presentations Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.

Experience in a customer communications coordination or document management role using Sharepoint or other document management systems.

Very strong communication skills
