Process Analyst Seed Manufacturing Job

MANUFACTURING PROCESS CONTROL ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, MO.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Be part of the Global Supply Chain IT Group focused on developing and maintaining existing systems required for shop floor automation.
- Focus will be given to improving process control systems to ensure equipment reliability, seed quality, data integrity and safety of seed manufacturing production facilities.
- Maintain a strong day-to-day relationship with the process control group, crop management and site production and maintenance personnel to help resolve production challenges.
- Required to partner with key stakeholders to analyze, design and maintain the current manufacturing reporting system.
- Ideal candidate will have substantial SQL database administration experience, understanding of relational modelling, knowledge of process control systems and the ability to take control of a project from initial conception to completion.
- Make strategic technology decisions including architectural definition, directing high level data design, overseeing integration of data and addressing risks.
- Partner with stakeholders to design new solutions to manufacturing opportunities.
- Documentation of existing process to ensure future implementations are seemless.
- Regularly reviewing data for consistency and correctness, providing feedback where needed.
- Define data architecture and approach to project and leadership teams and other stakeholders.
- Partner with SAP to develop new interfaces to send and receive manufacturing data

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor of Science in IT or related degree
- Five or more (5+) years of IT systems analysis and design experience
- Extensive knowledge of SQL server databases including development, implementation and reporting
- Strong technical, teamwork, problem solving and communication competencies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple organizations and multi-task effectively
- Ability to establish strong working relationships and build networks
