JOB SUMMARY

The primary objective of the Process Analyst will be to work on business change projects within Treasury. Working closely with Treasury staff, Finance, IT, Businesses and other stakeholders (eg Risk, Regulatory, Tax)

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

The primary objective of the Process Lead will be to work on strategic architecture projects within Treasury. Working closely with Treasury SME's, Finance, IT, Businesses and other stakeholders (eg Risk, Regulatory, Tax)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

PROJECT DELIVERY

- Document existing and target business processes within Treasury, including holding workshops with stakeholders to extract information
- Work with users to document and establish target business operating models
- Identify process improvement opportunities and assist users in transition to new business processes
- Work with business/IT stakeholders to analyse issues and propose solutions
- Assist in documenting business requirements for IT development required, including liaising with IT analysts to ensure business requirements are understood
- Produce test plans and test scripts to enable thorough user acceptance testing of the IT and process changes
- Proactively follow up issues and actions with business and IT stakeholders and ensure that the Process Lead  is kept informed
- Plan and coordinate go-live preparation and cutover activities

ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

- Mentor and coach team colleagues by sharing experience.
- Input onto the on-going development of the Group's Change Governance, Methods, Standards and Tools 

PERSONAL AND & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

- Maintain personal and professional development by regular and focused activity, which covers the complete development spectrum (ie conferences, courses, personal coaching, etc).
- Keep up to date personally with latest thinking in chosen subject/discipline by attending and presenting at conferences, producing research material for leading-edge journals, etc.
- Achieve the required level of accreditation in the Group's mandated Methodology and Tools
- Demonstrate total commitment to the personal and professional development of all members of TTG      

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility, proactively managing work through to completion, within deadlines
- Experience of writing clear and comprehensive business requirements which can be passed to the IT team for build
- Experience of documenting business processes and working on projects involving significant process changes
- Experience of writing and executing test scripts and of managing the UAT phase of a project
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to identify all options and make a recommendation on the best option for a particular situation
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent people and influencing skills
- Ability to take on wider project management responsibilities over time
- Investment banking experience, product knowledge, prior knowledge/experience of Treasury line roles
- Understanding of industry best practice business analysis methodologies

REQUIRED/DESIRED SKILLS
