Problem Manager (Technical Projectlead) (m/f/d) for Essen

Currently we are looking for one candidate who is able to cover the following position:

Your Tasks:

Performing root cause analysis to minimise the adverse impact of incidents
-

Bring people together and assign tasks to them, make decisions of who is responsible for investigating
-

Translate complex issues into easy to understand English, describe complex issues in a “nutshell”
-

Develop good relationships with various groups of experts
-

Own problems, until all tasks are closed

Your key competencies:

-

Broad understanding of IT environments like databases, server, network operating systems and how those fit together with applications (but no in-depth detail knowledge required)
-

Interest in details and stick to an issue even if results are hard to achieve
-

Experience in Incident Management
-

Ability to lead meetings
-

Experience in using formal approaches to analyse problems (e.g. Kepner Tregoe or “5 Times Why” principle)
-

ITIL experience (a certificate is a plus)
-

Experience with ServiceNow
-

Fluent in English and German
