PROBLEM MANAGER, ITIL, BANKING

On behalf of our client, one of the most established financial institutions worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Problem Manager to work on a new 9 month contract with strong chance of extension starting as soon as possible.

In your role as Problem Manager, you will work in a global function responsible for ensuring production stability by managing the life cycle of all problems with potential or actual impact to the business.

Manage the life cycle of all problems from creation to closure

Ensure global problem management process and standards are adhered to; this includes root cause identification and remediation activities

Execute problem management processes and procedures in a consistent and timely manner; this includes conducting problem review meetings and producing key management reporting and analytics

Verify that problem tickets contain accurate, up-to-date, consistent and high quality data for KPIs, reporting and analytics

Produce stability reporting and analytics for senior management, highlighting instability themes, trends and remediation efforts for transparency

Contribute to global or technology/region specific process and stability initiatives as part of continual service improvement

Collaborate with key stakeholders, collating and fulfilling requirements, facilitating meetings, producing reporting and analytics and presenting management information at meetings

As the successful candidate, you will possess the following skills:

-

At least three to five years' experience working within problem management
-

Solid understanding of service management and ITIL service operations, particularly incident, problem and change management
-

Experience working in an Investment Bank in an IT related role
-

IT related qualifications or experience
-

Knowledge of ITIL, experience implementing processes with, or working in an ITIL process environment

Fluency in English (German nice to have)
