Contract - 6 Months - Renfrew
Location: Inchinnan, Scotland

Description:
RDF Group are recruiting a Problem and Major Incident Manager on behalf of our highly successful global client. The role is initially for 6 months with a high possibility of extension and will be based just outside of Erskine in Renfrewshire.
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to manage and take ownership of problems and major incidents within a complex environment. The winning candidate will be a resilient team player with the confidence to engage with team members and customers at all levels internally, externally and globally.

Key Accountabilities
Major Incident Management Resolution / Fix / Communication / Documentation
Problem Management Problem Investigations / Major Incident Reviews

What Is Needed To Carry Out The Role?
Good working knowledge of critical applications and infrastructure
Experience of working in a Global Command / Data Centre environment
Excellent customer support skills / IT Helpdesk experience
Good working knowledge of Problem and Major Incident escalation processes and procedures
Good experience of working with Helpdesk Management Software
Good reporting and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Good working knowledge of ITIL Service Management best practice
ITIL Foundation certificate would be desirable.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for one of the worlds most successful companies. The role is initially for 6 months with a high possibility of extension. For the right candidate there may also be the opportunity for the position to be made permanent.
