PRO Specialist - Associate Director Level (Homebased)

Responsibilities:
The person will be responsible for executing scientific research initiatives (designing studies, developing/implementing research protocols, conducting/coordinating data analysis), developing tools/questionnaires, analyzing data and communicating results to relevant stakeholders. This will include developing/presenting abstracts at scientific meetings and preparing manuscripts for peer reviewed scientific journals. The candidate will also have responsibility for the management of budgets, contracts and timelines. This position may require mentoring of other staff (incl. possibility of line management), in accordance with the candidate experience and title.
Essential Qualifications:
-Ph.D with a focus in epidemiology, health economics, health services research or public health.
-MD degree with additional relevant qualifications will be entertained.
-Minimum of 6-12 years of hands-on relevant research experience in one or more of the following areas: epidemiology, health economics, clinical outcomes research, patient reported outcomes (PRO), or health services research.
-In-depth experience in PRO evaluations will be a plus.
-Strong knowledge of observational study designs and related study management.
Demonstrated technical writing, presentation and communication skills.
Track record of scientific presentations and publication in peer reviewed journals.
-Proficient in prioritizing and managing several projects.
-Willing to travel up to 15% of the time.
