Projektbeschreibung

Qualifications:

Must be graduate of an approved school of nursing (LPN with Pharmacology) and maintain current registration in the state of Ohio

Must maintain current certification in CPR and first aid.

Must have sincere desire to work with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Must be willing and able to instruct unlicensed persons on aspects of resident care that are within the scope of practice.

Must be willing to work in a team-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the laws and rules governing nursing by functioning within the legal boundaries for the practice of nursing as an RN or LPN.

Verifies and implements (within the scope of practice as an RN or LPN) orders prescribed for residents by licensed physician, dentist, optometrist, or podiatrist to ensure that order is appropriate, properly authorized, and not contraindicated by other documented information.

Orders from pharmacy, safely administering and accurately recording medications and treatments administered.

Makes nursing evaluations of acute and chronic concern with residents, following standing orders, and follows directives given by supervisor, shift coordinator, or Director of Nursing.

Maintains adequate and accurate resident records. Clearly documents in residents

Charts any medical, physical, or behavioral problems that occurred during the shift.

Participates in resident team meetings

Pay Rate:

PRN rates: LPN - $21.63, RN - $24.31
