Prison Nurses

Precedo Healthcare Services provide Care and Nursing Services to many privately and publicly owned clients throughout Yorkshire.

We are currently seeking full time and part time Registered Nurses (RGN) to work within our HM Prison Service clients in Leeds and Wakefield. These are challenging, yet extremely reward roles.

Working with the NHS Primary Care Teams, you will assist in providing a considerable range of care services include asthma, diabetes and epilepsy clinics, GP sessions, triage clinics, health screening, phlebotomy, vaccinations, smoking cessation, sexual health and substance misuse help.

These positions are to start ASAP and are ongoing temporary roles. Please take in to account that prison clearance is required before you will be able to commence work. This clearance typically takes 4-6 weeks to obtain.

We can offer full time and part time hours, on a rota basis (including weekends) and paid overtime is also available. Rates of pay start are £16.00 per hour and increase when working in the evening and at weekends.

Successful applicants must:

•Be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK
•Have at least 6 months post qualification experience in the NHS
•Be willing to undertake a DBS Check (previously CRB)
•Hold current registration with the NMC
•Be able to provide satisfactory references
Successful applicants will also be computer literate and have sound communication skills. Confidence, initiative and a calm approach are essential in this role, as is the ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
