THe work involves electrical, control and instrumentation engineering for a variety of projects that include:
* Nuclear reactor inspection systems
* Fuel route systems at nuclear power stations including
o Fuelling machines
Irradiated fuel disposal facilities
Active waste disposal systems
Fuel storage ponds
* Reactor protection systems
* Dry Storage Facilities
* Decommissioning work
* Refurbishment of existing plant at AWE
The work will cover all aspects of the engineering process including:
* Tenders and bids
* Optioneering and concepts
* Design requirements capture and design substantiatio
* Detailed design and manufacturing support,
* Works testing and site commissioning
