Principle Procurement Officer/Senior Buyer

PRINCIPLE PROCUREMENT OFFICER/SENIOR BUYER - PROCUREMENT/COMMERCIAL, DIRECTS/ENGINEERING, OJEU, ITT DRAFTING AND EVALUATION, SPARES PROCUREMENT, CONTRACT AGGREGATION AND NEGOTIATION

A Principle Procurement Officer/Buyer with experience in Procurement/Commercial, Directs/Engineering Products, ITT Drafting and Evaluation, Spares Procurement and Contract Aggregation and Negotiation is required to work on a 4 month contract WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION for a high profile Government organisation based in Abbeywood Bristol

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE PRINCIPLE PROCUREMENT OFFICER/SENIOR BUYER

- Extensive Procurement/commercial experience
- Experience in directs/engineering products on medium or major projects
- Recent Negotiation preparation and negotiation experience
- OJEU experience
- Defence/maritime sector experience highly desirable
- Excellent analytical and IT skills
- Excellent stakeholder and team working skills
- Recent experience of ITT drafting and evaluation, clarifications etc
- Experience of spares procurement
- Experience of contract aggregation
- Experience of contracting for in-sourced/out-sourced service provision
- Expedition of parts and orders
- Contract extensions/renegotiations experience from a Commercial/Procurement perspective and not as an engineer or project manager ie have held positions with commercial responsibility for negotiating/drafting contracts, ideally with commercial delegation.
