Principle Network Consultant Germany

Our Client, a global provider of IT Infrastructure support and services, is looking for a Senior Network Specialist to support the team in Germany. The candidate must be fluent in German.

PROJECT CONSULTANT ROLE:

- Generates engineering project documentation including detailed test plan for most complex networks.
- Generates network configurations from Low Level Design for most complex networks.
- Generate, build and execute technical and complex test plans and topology in CPOC environments

PROACTIVE SERVICE & SUPPORT:

- Produces architectural network designs for large-scale networks.
- Assists customer with deployment of complex network tools and related Network Management Systems.
- Reviews network requirements and High Level Design.
- Facilitate design workshop.
- Reviews Low Level Design.
- Reviews Implementation/Change Management Plans.
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex customer network problems across a broad range of technologies.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Expert level knowledge in two (2) of the following and strong knowledge in all other areas of: IP internetworking LAN Switching, Datacenter-Nexus and NxOS, IP Telephony, SAN, CDN, Optical, Wireless, IPCC. WAN protocols, IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), Cisco Security Solutions, Cisco IOS and IOS XR operating systems.
- Expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.
- CCIE R&S and/or Datacenter strongly preferred
- Undertake support as designated Advanced Services engineer for large-scale networks. Must possess strong technical account management skills. Minimum 2 years of experience in Advanced Services or high-level support.

- Typically requires BS, CS, or University degree equivalent plus 5-8 years experience in network Consulting or telecommunications support environment. Advanced degree is also preferred.
