Principle electronics engineer - Contract - Cambridgeshire - £40 - 45 per hour

One of my clients based in Cambridgeshire are currently looking for a contract principle electronics engineer to join their team. This is a great client as the products they make are nothing short of revolutionary.

Main responsibilities for this position are as follows:

- Developing conversion topologies for capacitive loads with time-varying signals
- Performing detailed circuit design and simulation of power stages for efficient amplification
- Implementing PCB-level products, including layout and validation of amplifier modules
- Helping to shape the specifications of future products, including custom IC's I am looking for an engineer with the following

Key skills:

- SMPS design experience, including DC-AC circuits and bi-directional conversion
- Full life-cycle experience of PCB level products, including manufacture and test
