Principal Technical Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a Principal Technical Specialist for our clients based in Brussels, Belgium -

Project description:

My mission is based in the Web Master team, which is responsible for the implementation of our client's website. I am part of the team that is responsible for the implementation of the contribution of software (which allows journalists to register their articles, photos and other multimedia), the CMS (site data storage server) and website.

Employee's Roles & Responsibilities in the project:

Maintenance tasks and developments on the existing architecture and research and development work on a new architecture.

The old architecture is based on C # with infopath forms to contribute products, a J2EE server for the CMS (+ Documentum) and the exchange of data is done by Web-services.There will also be the development of new forms of contributions to new products (such as slide shows, new types of items) and change the server accordingly (modification of code and CMS Documentum administration).

For the new architecture, you will be required to create a Thin Client prototype for the contribution of media (photo, audio, video). This prototype was designed to study the option of upgrading to Web-based input tools. There will also be various projects of the new architecture: publishing web pages, contribution of clients, data caching, Client Server exchange data.
