Principal Technical Architect

Role - Principal Technical Architect
Contract - 9 months
Location - Milton Keynes/London
Candidates are required to have current SC/DV Clearance

Principal Technical Architect required for a 9 month contract, the successful candidate will have the option to be based at Milton Keynes or London.

To lead strategic technological planning for assigned technology stream and/or Cloud Product(s) to achieve business goals by prioritising technology initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technologies.

Essential skills & experience:
*Experience of innovative approaches to sourcing services, and of managing relationships with large suppliers
*Experience of developing technology strategies and managing the delivery of associated technical services, solutions and architectures and technologies.
*Relevant vendor certifications, eg Microsoft
*Microsoft Virtulisation Experience (Hyper V)
*Microsoft Share Point 2013
*Microsoft Exchange 2013

Desirable
*Chartered IT Professional or equivalent and have at least one of the following academic/Professional Qualifications:
TOGAF
ITIL Foundation
ITIL Expert Life Cycle Module
Prince Foundation

To support the Chief Technology Office communicate the technology vision via regular written and in-person communications with the executives, department heads, and end users. Provide quality assurance and streamlined service through mandating clear standards for secure services project delivery in relation to assigned technology stream and/or Cloud Product(s).
