The Principal Tax Analyst assists the Tax Compliance and Reporting Manager with the management of the day-to-day operations of the business unit tax department. As such the Principal Tax Analyst assists with all operational and administrative aspects of the tax department. In terms of the organizational structure the Principal Tax Analyst reports directly to the Tax Manager.
SKILLS:
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate Accounting.
- 6+ years of professional tax experience focusing on large corporations, including a combination of industry and either public accounting or law firm.
- Certified Public Accountant.
PREFERRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters in Tax, JD.
- Utility industry experience is desirable, though not at the expense of a broad base of experience.
