Principal Scientist - Liposomal Formulations

We are looking for a Liposomal Formulations Scientist for one of the major Pharmaceuticals based in Basel.

Your Responsibilities:

. Leading development activities in relation to lipid based parenteral formulations in close alignment with Novartis pharmaceutical and analytical experts with focus on scientific understanding of drug product.
. Co-ordination of lab activities both at Novartis as well as in collaboration with external partners.
. Ensuring high quality documentation such as eg scientific reports to summarize former and ongoing development work
. Development of analytical techniques or evaluation of analytical tools to in-depth characterize lipid based formulations in close alignment with Novartis pharmaceutical and analytical experts

Minimum requirements:

. Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology or relevant life science area
. 3-5 years' experience in pharmaceutical and analytical development within the pharmaceutical industry with focus on parenteral dosage forms
. Expert knowledge in the field of lipid based formulations
. Good understanding of analytical technologies to characterize lipid formulations and prefilled syringes
. Advantage would be experience in prefilled syringe development and manufacture.
