For our Life Science client in Basel, we are seeking a Principle Scientist
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 31st January 2018
Location: Basel
Language: English
Your role:
Designing, planning, performing, interpreting and results on scientific formulation experiments in the area of oral drug products. GMP manufacturing experience is required.
- Develop product pipeline, developing in the area of oral dosage forms (including poorly soluble compounds) and transfer to production
- Ensure high quality products are developed
- Modern, state of the art technologies, risk analysis and ObD methods
- Achieve robust formulations and processes
- Optimisation, scale-up and validation work
- Creation of documentation
- Facilitation, coaching and coordination skills required to manage internal and external collaborations
Your Experience:
- Master/PhD focussed on pharmaceutical science and technology - eg Pharmacy/Chemistry
- 3+ years industry experience in development of pharmaceutical formulations
- Preferred: oral dosage forms
- ObD and biopharmaceutics understanding
- Excellent knowledge of lab and technical tools
- Strong understanding of development activities and processes
- GLP, GMP regulations and policies
- Fluency in English
- Preferred: German/French
