Job Summary:

Scientist in the cell line analytics area of the BIOLOGICS DEPARTMENT (production of therapeutic proteins from cultured cells) responsible for the molecular biology characterization of production cell banks.

Major Accountabilities:
. As a scientist you will take care for the molecular biology characterization and release analytics of biotech production cell lines/cell banks.
. Project specific method development and release analytics execution under GMP conditions.
. Method troubleshooting and improvement especially regarding blotting method (Northern blot, Southern blot).
. You might take over additional responsibilities (eg sample shipment organization, instrument responsible, archiving, improvement initiatives, training )
. You will be author of project specific parameter sheets, author/reviewer of some SOPs (in English)

Education: Masters or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry/Biology/related disciplines

However candidates need to bring good work experience and especially strong hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques (nucleic acid isolation, sequencing, Southern blot, Northern blot, radioactive and non-radioactive hybridization).
