Principal SAS Programmer

This Bay Area Oncology client is interested in expanding their biometrics team and bringing on a talented Principal Programmer to their already stable and thriving group. This company has 4 products on the market and a robust pipeline of more than 15 products in various phases.

Responsibilities:
•Principal SAS Programmer will oversee programming activities for a drug indication
•Overview of analysis dataset specifications to ensure consistency across protocols for given drug indication.
•Comfortable with electronic data and documentation provided from Programming delivered to a regulatory agency.
•Mange quality requirements in coordination with Regulatory Compliance
•Cross Functional across the organization on project deliverables and timelines for projects within area of responsibility
•Provide technical leadership and directly contribute to technical development and process improvement within Statistical Computing.
•Work with senior management, HR, and vendors to identify qualified employees/contractors.
•train and manage employees and contractors within Programming
•Maintenance of training records for direct reports
•Adhere to principles of GCP
•Work with vendors
•Develop, apply and promote consistent programming standards through standard processes and SOPs.
•Identify areas of deficiency requiring SOPs or guidelines and develop and execute a plan to rectify.
•Follow guidelines and specifications on validation procedures and data transfer procedures.
