Principal Risk & Value Manager

My client, a leading rail infrastructure company, is hiring a Principal Risk and Value Manager to lead services for high complexity programmes and project portfolios.

This position will be accountable for providing strategic leadership and guidance in risk and value management, with appropriate application throughout the project life cycle. You will define and own the risk and value management process as well as the strategic risk process.

The role will involve the establishment of appropriate contingency budgets for the programme and provide robust exposure estimates.

Essential
*Able to lead strategic risk reviews with Programmes and Assets
*Expert in all aspects of project and business risk management facilitation
*Must have full awareness and strategic knowledge of Active Risk Manager and Pertmaster
*Able to build complicated cost, schedule and business risk models in a number of applications
*Can suggest appropriate risk management actions for identified risks
*Knowledge of risk management techniques.

Desirable
*Membership of the Institute of Risk Management or Association for Project Management Risk Practitioners.
*Experience in Network Rail's project management processes and procedures.
*Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
