Principal Reporting/Business Intelligence/Analytics Specialist

Telecoms company based in Amsterdam is currently seeking a Principal Reporting/Business Intelligence/Analytics Specialist Main purpose of the role/project to combine data sources and provide Business Intelligence by means of a "good story"/analytical presentation to senior stakeholders.

Essential skills/experience
*Successful candidates for this role will have 5+ years (10+ years for senior profile) of experience in PMO or consulting or delivery of technical products in the telecommunications.
*Business background and extensive experience in consulting, business intelligence, program management, portfolio office and project management methodologies and experience with implementation of PPM management systems, reporting tools, Datamodelling, visualization techniques
*Experience with business reporting, building models with business partners, facilitating end users in
*A deep understanding and firsthand experience of project management methodologies used in the industry eg PRINCE2, PMI, Scrum as well as analytics and Business Intelligence methodologies
*Effective written and verbal communication skills are needed, as well as experience in communicating, persuading, and influencing at senior stakeholder level
*Self-motivated and proactive in the working environment
*Demonstrates the gravitas and courage needed to build relationships and convey authority in order to resolve conflicts and maintain direction
*Strong reporting, analytics and consulting skills
*Knowledge of and experience of governance processes in global multi-national companies

Key duties:
Setup and maintain the data policy reporting, regular reports, quality assurance, distribution lists
Senior and principal roles: focus on end user requirements, engage with business owners and understand the required business views and walk through story boards.
For key programs, provide higher level of aggregation and views matching the business product roadmaps.
Governance & Delivery Support
Provide strategic overview of all programmes, projects and interdependencies, identifying and reporting anomalies, risks or areas of concern to project/program manager and senior management
Provide multi-year analytics, trends and cross country analysis combining complex data sources
Liaise with other departments to gather data and combine analytics, ensure reporting deadlines are met
Develop and manage reporting policies, schedules, guidelines, standards and distribution lists
Constantly evaluate the effectiveness of reports, views and analytics support
Provide a central coordination point for issuing all roadmap and portfolio related information to key stakeholders, manage or facilitate quality review checks.
Build and maintain analytics to support the improvement of the product delivery life cycle
Actively chase value added analysis to support the company objectives in reducing time to market, increasing product delivery value and supporting benefits management.
