Principal Quality Assurance Officer - AUTOMOTIVE/In-Vehicle Networking
In-vehicle networking is key to safety and comfort related features in modern cars. Quality is therefore a crucial point in development and production. As Principal Quality Assurance officer, you play an important role in product development to safeguard and improve the high quality standards to the development project quality for automotive in-vehicle networking products. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary environment and report your findings to the management team.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Advising project leaders and teams in IC development in the basic application of organizational processes and international standardized processes (CMMi "Capability Maturity Model integrated")
- Assistance in preparation of Quality Assurance Plans for (IC) development projects
- Planning and reporting on QA activities and deliverables
- Assuring Quality of Project and Quality of work products
- Providing consultancy to project team on

* Project process customization, including Scaling and Tailoring
* Process and tools application following defined process
* Policy application
* Project Execution incl. Project Management, Supplier Management, Product Engineering
* Process and product assurance
- Auditing including use of compliance checklists, audit reporting, follow-up of audit findings, corrective actions and escalation of non-compliance.
- Report audit results to project team and management
- Gate/Milestone passing verification
- Work product verification eg Project Charters, Contracts, Plans
- Providing input to Project Evaluations/Debriefs using QA data
- Providing input to Process Improvement using QA data.
- Please be aware that some travel may be required.
- Identification of process improvements and their realization
- Give training to project leaders and teams in the execution of their project

Candidate Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor/Master in physics, electrical engineering or electronics (preferred), with 7+ year experience.
- Experience in Project Management of development projects, with good understanding of project management principles and life-cycles (Experience in automotive (IC) development environment is an asset)
- Knowledgeable in ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949
- Experience with CMMi
- Solid reviewing and auditing skills (Certified Auditor).
- Able to build constructive relationships with project- managers/leaders/team
- Proactive and forward thinking, constantly looking for ways to improve efficiency
- Able to react swiftly to changing requirements and priorities.
