Principal QA (Quality Assurance) GMP Consultant

This competitive role is a Director of VP position. Experience working with oral solid dosage forms and small molecule experience is a must. The candidate is required to have worked with CMOs in the past as well.

1. Experience working with oral solid dosage forms- capsules, tablets, etc

2. Small molecule experience NOT biologics, or Device

3. Has 8-10 years in management positions, should be mostly in the GMP area- not a jack/jill of all trades

4. Must haveworked with CMOs - they out source manufacturing

Daily Duties:

-assist with day to day QA activities supporting clinical trial material release (packaging documentation, labeling, etc)
-support deviation investigation and CAPA follow up and closure
-review/revise quality system SOPs for continuous improvement/compliance
-perform vendor audits as needed to support vendor management program
-Review validation protocols and reports
-provide quality compliance/systems input on discussions involving operational activities with contract manufacturers
