Principal Project Officer

An opportunity exists for a Principal Project Officer to plan, coordinate, lead and manage staff and resources to provide a cost effective, quality service that meets organisational key performance indicators in my client's Internal Audit & Improvement, Fraud Control and Business Continuity Frameworks and the internal audit planning process. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven experience managing a small team and hold a strong project background.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

- Significant experience in managing resources and the management and tracking of multiple projects and project reports.
- Excellent staff management skills and experience in managing leading high performance teams engaged on a wide range of projects.
- Strong analytical, research and organisational skills.
- Experience and a strong understanding of governance, audit and risk management principles and practices.
- Highly developed communications skills and demonstrated experience in effectively and actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships based on open and regular discussion and feedback.
- Tertiary qualification in a management or related discipline.
- Ability to promote a workplace commitment to employment equity and diversity, work health and safety (WHS), risk management and ethical practices.
