Principal Product Development Engineer

My market leading medical device company is currently seeking a Principal Product Development Engineer.

I am currently recruiting for a principal level Product Development Engineer for a 12 month rolling contract. You will be heavily involved with senior members of the team will be expected to be able to provide knowledge and ideas to the rest of the R&D team. A knowledge of medical standards will be required and more specifically within the orthopaedic domain. You will also have to show a proven ability to be able to bring medical products through the development process from start to finish. With regards to technical ability, you will need to ensure design verification and analysis is performed. This includes: tolerance analysis, FEA and lab testing. Knowledge of the full design process will also be massively beneficial.
