Principal Migration Engineer - HIGH Level Security Cleared

Job Description:
1.Research and document the configuration, authentication, authorization, usage, and interdependencies of production applications.
2.Coordinate with SMEs and application owners on issues related to application migration.
3.Develop a written migration plan for the migration of production applications.
4.Oversee, and in some cases execute, the migration of production applications.
5.Troubleshoot and resolve issues and problems related to application migration.
6.Plan and execute the migration of directory and messaging services.
7.Work to resolve end-user technical issues related to the migration process.
8.Work with stakeholders and other technical teams to collect, understand, and document business requirements and use cases.
9.Create and update technical documentation related to implementation plans and operating procedures.
10.Work with security engineers to ensure the accreditation of migrated production applications.
11.Collaborate and communicate with internal departments and vendor partners.
12.Support IT goals and objectives including measures and projects.
13.Follow and apply configuration and security standards and policies within a defined Change Management process.
14.Work under general direction from senior management, and participate in other initiatives as directed.
15.Travel may be required up to 25%

Education:
1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.

2. Masters Degree preferred.

Qualifications:
1.10+ years of experience as a systems engineer in a large enterprise
2.Must possess and maintain a US Top Secret Security Clearance.
3.Strong experience with Active Directory and Exchange messaging
4.Strong experience with Quest Migration Manager for Active Directory and Exchange (QMM-AD/QMM-EX)
5.Experience with Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10 (physical and VDI)
6.Experience designing, deploying, migrating, and managing large-scale enterprise applications and environments
7.Experience with physical (Dell) and virtual (VMware) server equipment
8.Ability to effectively troubleshoot complex technical issues
9.Ability to research and develop creative solutions to unique and difficult problems
10.Strong knowledge of authentication (AuthN) and authorization (AuthZ) mechanisms, including NTLM, Kerberos, LDAP, and PKI
11.Thorough knowledge of networking concepts, technologies, and protocols
12.Experience with Powershell, C#, and other Scripting/programming languages as needed to support the environment
13.Strong written and verbal communication skills; customer facing and professional demeanor
14.Outstanding MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
