A global, medical technology corporation serving the health care industry is currently seeking a Principal Design Engineer to be a part of a larger team developing a new consumable product for Respiratory Care. This is a 1 year CONTRACT assignment, with the possibility of extension. This position is located in the Yorba Linda, CA area. Local candidates only, no per diem available for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Test concept designs to see if they meet performance criteria

REQUIREMENTS

- 6+ years experience in design
- Extensive SolidWorks experience for disposable product modeling (Pro-E and AutoCAD may be considered)
- Plastics part design knowledge
- Experience designing for assembly
- BS Degree (Mechanical, Plastics, etc.)
- SolidWorks certification and Medical Device expertise are preferred
