Principal Embedded Software Engineer - Bluetooth

Role: Principal engineer

Location: Cambridgeshire

Salary: £40,000-£60,000 + benefits

My Cambridgeshire based Client are a well established technology company with a reputation for high quality, they require an experienced senior engineer to add value to their current projects working on legacy projects to help within core development activities.

The successful candidate will have experience of providing technical leadership within teams whilst being able to support design and implementation tasks to a high standard. You will be structured in your approach to every day tasks, understanding of quality software development processes.

Key skills include:- Essential:

? At least five years experience of embedded software development on real time systems.

?Experience of the full software development life-cycle (from requirements through to system test)

?Working knowledge of debuggers, emulators, configuration management tools etc

Desirable:

?Working knowledge of Bluetooth or other relevant/related telecoms standards exposure to TETRA would be a distinct advantage

?At least two years experience of mobile wireless handset software development

?Working knowledge of implementing for an embedded Linux platform

?Knowledge of encryption algorithms and authentication protocols

?Experience of a variety of modern software development tools (we use Rhapsody/UML, Perforce, Jira)
