My local authority client is currently looking for Principal Education Welfare Office/Head of Education Welfare Adviser on an interim basis (3-6 months).
The chosen individual will be responsible for managing the Education Welfare Service, providing strategic leadership and development of the service, to ensure continuous improvement in school attendance and further reduction of exclusion from schools.
In order to be considered for this role, you must have a strong track record in Education Welfare within a Local Authority. It would also be highly advantageous if you had previous experience across vulnerable children, alternative provision or SEN.
They will consider candidates looking for 4 or 5 days per week with some potential remote working.
