Principal Business Analyst

Your previous experience in implementing large-scale health information systems and services will assist in your success.
Your role will encompass:
- Collaborating with the key stakeholders to plan and deliver business and information analysis
- Applying appropriate information modelling and Datamodelling methodologies.
- Working collaboratively with a wide range of multi-disciplinary teams and conducting stakeholder workshops.
- Documenting current and future state business processes, ensuring alignment between requirements.
- Managing and maintaining a repository of information models and reference data
- Supervising and conducting the analysis of existing and future business processes.
- Leading and conducting needs and gap analysis and providing specialist
- Leading and undertaking requirements elicitation, documentation and tracking work packages.
- Analysing current systems/applications and ICT portfolio impacts and contribute to subsequent decision-making.
- Translating business requirements into functional and information requirements and develop Invitation to Offer (ITO) documentation.
- Contributing to business integration, change management and commissioning activities.
- Consulting with reference groups to ensure the needs of stakeholders are met.
To be successful, you will have:
- Proven experience in drawing accurate and effective business process models and information/data models including 'as is' and 'to be' utilising appropriate notations (such as BPMN, IDEF, UML).
- Proven experience in effectively utilising applications such as Visio, Enterprise Architect (or similar) and Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS).
- Proven experience in researching, analysing and documenting business requirements and information models.
- Proven experience in documenting software requirement specifications using Use Case methodology.
- Proven experience in developing high quality written analysis papers and other documentation for consideration by senior management.
- Understanding and application of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) principles.
- Knowledge and understanding of the public sector Information and Communication Technology (ICT) environment.
- Proven ability to identify key issues, perform research and analysis and develop and document solutions.
- Proven ability to liaise and negotiate with internal clients to meet project objectives.
- Proven ability to lead workshop groups of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage a large workload whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy
