Principal Architect - Online/Web - Greenfield (S27) C

Our client is a highly innovative, government-funded organisation working to improve the Australian healthcare system by enabling access to high quality health advice, triage, referral and health information.

Operating since 2007, our client is in a high-growth phase, and is currently seeking an established PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT to join their team on a number of new and exciting initiatives

The Principal Architect has a significant role in the realisation of this vision, managing the team of architect and ensuring that technical solutions come together to provide the necessary services in a consistent, reliable and available way.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- 5+ YEARS AS A PRINCIPAL/LEAD ARCHITECT MANAGING A TEAM OF ARCHITECTS IN A MULTI-PROJECT, MULTI-PROGRAM ENVIRONMENT WHILST ALSO HAVING THE ABILITY TO BE PRACTICAL AND HANDS-ON TO AID DELIVERY
- Significant demonstrable experience working with ONLINE SOLUTIONS FOR SERVICE DELIVERY AND PREFERABLY WITH CMS/SECURITY AND INTEGRATION PROJECT EXPERIENCE 
- EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH GREENFIELD/START-UP PROJECTS  
- Strong SDLC background and understanding
- Exposure to AGILE methods and principles
- Experience managing a number of vendors and aligning them across architectural initiatives and delivery
- Understanding of new media opportunities and constraints
- Experience with mobile technologies
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, including effective decision-making, problem solving and positive collaborative approach
- Proven ability to manage priorities and deliver projects on time
- Architecture certification eg TOGAF and previous experience in healthcare is highly desirable
