Principal Advisor Reporting Analyst

Principal Advisor, Reporting Analyst required to join a global mining company on a temporary basis. You will be responsible for consolidating, preparing and analysing group plan and forecast information. This role will also involve supporting the Management Reporting team through peak reporting periods.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

QUARTERLY FORECASTING, TWO YEAR ANNUAL AND FIVE YEAR BUSINESS PLANNING

- Consolidating, preparing and analysing Group plan and forecast information;
- Developing plan review committee templates and guidance notes
- Coordinating plan review committee meetings
- Integration of planning process with impairment testing, BED, BD, treasury, and tax
- Managing Integrated Planning eRoom

STIP

- Consolidating, preparing and analysing Product Group STIP submissions;
- Developing group STIP committee templates and guidance notes

GROUP FORECAST FLEXING

- running economic scenarios as required through group flexing tool
- maintaining the group flexing tool in a state that the flexing can be run immediately
- ensuring appropriate data collection and data integrity
- supporting treasury in credit metric forecasting

SUPPORT AND ADHOC ANALYSIS

- Support the Management Reporting and Analysis team through peak reporting periods at Quarter and Half/Full year ends.
- Ad hoc financial analysis as required (eg competitor unit costs)
