Primavera Integration Lead Developer/Designer Job

PRIMAVERA INTEGRATION LEAD DEVELOPER/DESIGNER needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR WORKING REMOTELY, AS SUCH THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN CLIENT'S CHARLOTTE, NC LOCATION.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

- Primavera integration design experience
- Large-scale Primavera integration experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Primavera P6 Integration/Conversion Designer & Developer In order to support the consolidation between Progress and Duke Energy, a data integration/conversion designer position is available in the Transmission Project Controls team.
- Following a software implementation methodology, adhering to all required deliverables within the individual's responsibility and each project phase
- Facilitation of workshops and design sessions, and authoring of Functional Design Documents
- Authoring of Detailed Design Documents based on a combination of interpreting approved written functional designs and clarification discussions with other team members
- Hands-on coding with P6 API and web services

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Java, OOP, Hybernate, Oracle, SQL Queries, Stored Procedures
- Experience processing large data sets for batch and Real Time integration.
- Multithreading and Synchronization using P6 API and P6 Web Services.
- We are looking for a candidate with at least five (5) years work experience and three (3) years of Primavera P6 design and development experience in integration and conversion.
- The ideal candidate will have to able to: work as part of a team, collaborate with others, proactively research solutions and effectively communicate to their team lead and project management.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- RichFaces/PrimeFaces, Spring, Eclipse IDE, SVN, Jenkins, Maven, UML
- Experience with Enterprise Architect or similar platform for designing and documenting requirements, mappings, and software designs in UML.
- Integration to Maximo or other work management systems
- Position Notes:
- This person is working with the Transmission Business Unit. Both companies (Duke and Progress) currently use Oracle Primavera 6, but they need to merge/integrate/streamline components. This person will be the Technical Project Lead of that. They will drive the design and delivery of it.*
