***Primary Teacher
***Year 2 class
***May 2013 start
***Initial 12 month post
***Ofsted graded "good" Primary School
***Up to £135 per day depending on experience
***Great facilities and location
***Friendly & supportive Head teacher

Located in a quiet and rural area of Tameside in Greater Manchester, my Client School is looking for a key stage 1 teacher, preferably with Year 2 and SATs experience to cover a maternity leave starting in May 2013. This is an exciting opportunity for a Primary Teacher looking for a new challenge in a well resourced School with a friendly and supportive group of staff.

During the last Ofsted report the School received an overall grade of "good", which highlighted the hard work and organisational skills of the newly appointed senior leadership team. Teaching across School is good with some elements of outstanding and pupils often exceed expectations upon entering key stage 2.

The School has a larger than average intake of pupils with a statement of special educational needs, the SEN provision is highly reputable and children make exceptional progress under the supervision of the Special Needs Co-ordinator. Most pupils are of a white British heritage and few peoples speak English as an additional language.

Initially you will take control of a lovely Year 2 class with 28 pupils, the slight majority being girls. Levels of attainment are above average and you will be given the full support of an experienced Teaching Assistant and the KS1 co-ordinator who teaches in the parallel class. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role, preparing students for SATs and encouraging them to achieve in Literacy and Numeracy.

If this opportunity sounds ideal for you , do not hesitate to forward your CV to this post. Ideally the School are looking to interview and appoint the successful candidate before the Easter break, so don't delay and miss out on this role.

To apply, please email your CV through to Ryan at Edustaff as soon as possible.
