Primary Leadership Role - Brent

Required to start as soon as possible for an interim period until the end of the academic year.

We are currently recruiting for a Primary Leader to work with a school in Brent in a general leadership role to ensure whole school improvement.

This small one form entry Church of England Primary school in Brent is a friendly, community orientated school which has close links with the local church. The leadership of the new Headteacher (appointed in September 2012) is strong and she has acted decisively to put changes and improvements in place. Pupils are courteous and respectful to visitors, staff and other pupils.

The school has recently been given a "Notice to Improve" and is now looking for an excellent experienced Education Leader to help with this improvement. Due to recent changes in the school, two Senior Leaders are currently acting as full-time class teachers, therefore there is an urgent need to fill the gap left in the Senior Leadership team. The school is looking for someone with proven experience in school improvement, who can put together an action plan to determine what is needed. The ideal applicant will offer coaching to current staff members, carry out reviews of lesson planning and delivery and help to raise attainment across all year groups. This is a part-time position, 3 days a week, to start asap and to continue until July 2013, possibly longer for the right candidate.
