Pricing Instruments Manager (m/f)

Projektbeschreibung

- Support to country pricing teams and "corporate" project teams to help them implement specific pricing instruments based initially on current guidelines
- In particular,focus of implementation of quick wins (oultlier elimination, fixing basic mistakes, price comparison basket optimization
- Conceptual design of price instruments (price comparison, promotions, loyalty programs, CLCM alignment) in cooperation with the countries
- Facilitating intra-country support and knowledge sharing
- Consultancy on the Pricing / specific pricing instruments application
- Improve performance of specific pricing instruments across the countries (sales stimulation, profit growth, ROI on "price invest")
- Validation of maximum margin returns on current price invests
- Pricing instrument concept development and implementation
- Support and training of the country Pricing teams
- Guidance and monitoring of implemented instruments
- Pricing consultancy on challenging issues
- Translation of strategic targets into price tactics and instruments with best investment in (a) targeted customers and (b) targeted categories
- Sales / Investment responsibility
- Maximization of pricing related sales targets for specific pricing instrument
- Support the Country teams on price strategy
- Implementation of pricing instruments based on existing corporate guidelines
- Refinement of existing corporate guidelines
- Reflect feedback received
- Make them more practical
- Develop more advanced recommendations
- Investment allocation of sales growth targets to correct sales instruments (STP / pricing)
- Concept / implementation / monitoring
- Support of implementation of price instruments with the countries
- Monitoring of success of price instruments in all relevant dimensions
- Recommend and provide implementation support for existing recommended relevant pricing IT
- Personnel training / guidance for pricings specialists / category managers
- Enabling country employees to execute day-to-day pricing instruments without Corporate Pricing support
- Deep knowledge of selected instruments e.g. Customer individual pricing/ basket pricing/ shelf pricing/ OB pricing or similar, such as:
- Pricing companrison baskets
- Shelf pricing
- Promotion pricing
- Point based reward collection schemes
- Tiered discount structures
- 1-to-1 key account negotiation support
- Markdown
- Yielding
- Profound knowledge / experience in the difference of pricing strategies and the use of price instruments in retail/wholesale/delivery business
- Good communication skills/ Training (as a resulting of consultancy experience)
- Strong analytic skills (capable of advanced Excel and Powerpoint)
- Result orientation
- Delivery of many tasks simultaneously
- Ability to think strategically and structured
- Managerial / leadership experience in the management of small teams
- Excellent ability to work in teams
- Culture sensitivity
- High education (university or college degree)
- Corresponding experience in pricing management or specific pricing instruments' concept design and application
- Retail or leisure sector experience (either in industry or as a consultant)
- International experience
- Experience of the implementation and design of at least one of the following pricing instruments
- Fluent English
- Fluent other language (French, German, Spanish, Russian, etc)
