Press Officer (Public Sector) required to work for a large public sector organisation.
Candidates must have previous commercial experience as a Press Oficcer including the ability to produce clear, persuasive and accessible communication products as well as excellent relationship building skills, the ability to influence and stand up to difficult stakeholders as well as being able to use their own initiative.
The Press Officer (Public Sector) will join an established press office and communications team and will be responsible for advising the client in regards to handling the media in regards to announcements, visits and speeches. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing media facilities, organising interviews and drafting releases.
