Presentation Specialist - DTP - PPT Design - Hedge Fund Sales

PRESENTATION SPECIALIST

Overall responsibility for creating and producing GLG portfolio manager and Sales presentations in a compelling and consistent manner, on both a corporate and product level. These presentations will need to be prepared on a regular basis for use with Mans institutional and retail client base in addition to industry conferences and other events. The successful applicant will be expected to produce high quality and professional presentations quickly and efficiently and be a key point of liaison for the maintenance of these documents.

Responsibilities:

- Write, develop and deliver the full range of presentation collateral, making use of the close proximity to the GLG portfolio management teams in London
- Write tailor-made sales presentations of the highest quality and ensure that the latest industry research/analysis/messaging is incorporated
- Translate complex investment ideas and data into a logical and visually engaging format 
- Ensure consistency across presentations and that all recent commercial/compliance/legal changes communicated by the business are fully integrated.
- Demonstrate a high attention to detail and comply with all relevant jurisdictional regulations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior sales/portfolio managers/key stakeholders.
- Provide sales and clients with professionally finished, fit for purpose, up-to-date, relevant and risk-free marketing materials.
- Produce high quality and professional slides/presentations quickly and efficiently
- Manage the process of updating product and corporate materials on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Work effectively with the Production team. Ensure that the respective teams have up-to-date information and access to relevant data, conduct thorough reviews of presentations.

Desired Skills and Experience

Requirements:

Experience: experience within industry and an understanding of financial landscape preferred

PowerPoint skills: Deep experience with PowerPoint. Ability to construct top quality presentation collateral with clear and consistent messaging and appealing visual content

Awareness: Strong analytical ability with good attention to detail/accuracy. Demonstrates a positive attitude and displays business awareness

Strategic engagement: Ability to work with senior members from the sales organisation and investment management to support sales priorities

Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in understanding institutional/retail client expectations and requirements

Proactive: Identify opportunities and initiate projects where Investment Marketing can add value for the portfolio manager, sales force and wider business

Organisation: Good organisational and time management skills. Ability to prioritise work effectively

Team orientation: Ability to work independently within a team to meet demanding deadlines. Works comfortably in an entrepreneurial environment, seeks to continuously enhance own relevant skills. Valued and sought after as a team member.
