Presales Consultant

My client is a leading telecommunications provider and is searching for a candidate to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong presales consultant to act as a technical design authority and act as a trusted technical advisor for the account team.

The key purpose of therole isgenerate Business Network Services (Cisco, HP, UC&C, DC&V Borderless) sales into target accounts by being the senior technical face ofmy client in targetingmajor opportunities, presenting and establishing contact with CTOs and technical influencers and decision makers. The job requires the Consultant to act as Technical Design Authority for the entireBusiness Network Services solution andinvolves working with a virtual team across the technical resource teams.

* Experience with networking technologies in the IT, telecoms or SI industry.
* Experience in a technical BNS Pre-Sales environment is essential.
* Demonstrable knowledge of BNS (including video and UC) opportunity wins including, but not limited to, Cisco and HP technologies. Experience in responding to complex, high value, major bids based on applicable technologies and solutions is essential. Strong experience in a customer facing and solution positioning environment is essential, including experience of internal and external C Level interaction at a technical level. Education to degree level in a technical subject is preferred. A minimum partner certification of CCDA or equivalent, CCDP or equivalent is preferred.
* A sound working knowledge of business procedure and processes.
