Prepping and Scanning Operator

A Prepping and Scanning Operator is required for an on-going project based in Basildon Essex. Skills required:

- Be able to prep and scan documents onto the system
- Use Kodak Capture Pro software to review and amend scanned images which will form part of a patients' medical record. (Previous experience working within a business scanning workplace preferred, training will be given)
- Must be numerate and literate
- Must be able to work under pressure, and have a full understanding of the importance of patient confidentiality
- Must possess good communication and keyboard skills - must be computer literate.
- Have existing competence in MS Excel functionality to mine medical codes from pre-populated spreadsheets.

The Prepping and Scanning Operator will report to the EMR Scanning Bureau Manager and EMR Indexing Supervisor with issues surrounding form types and appropriate use of Medical Codes and will be able to work to departmental defined standards and target led/orientated activities.

It is essential the Prepping and Scanning Operator will have experience working in a busy office environment and will be required to have a good standard of education to GCSE level.

This is a shift-based position - 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm and own transport is essential due to the location being outside of the town centre
