Yoh has a contract opportunity for a PREDIX SOFTWARE SUPPORT ENGINEER to join our client in San Ramon, CA.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The candidate will be primarily supporting internal software development support, pre-production support, platform support including bug fixing and maintenance. This team is primarily working on Engineering and operating cloud platforms.

The Software Industrial Cloud team is seeking experienced Software Support professional to build knowledge Centric Support of the Predix Software Platform and Pedictivity Solutions for our client's Businesses built on the platform. You will be accountable for taking direct support cases from our client's solutions teams and contact centers, triage, ensuring issues are reproducible and subsequent resolution with Predix Platform and Solutions teams, as well as for building the knowledge base to prevent recurrence of escalation for previously resolved cases.

Job Responsibilities:
- Direct support and resolution of Predix Software related issues
- Partnership with development and test teams for Hotfix, Maintenance Releases and bugs/feature requests
- Stewardship of our client Software Answers support community
- Continuous improvement of incident Handle Times, First Contact Resolution, Escalation rates, Self-service/Community experience
- Improve our knowledge base, build Knowledge Centric Support
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for emergency events

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering OR "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- Five (5) plus years of experience in software with at least three (3) years in software support
- Must be willing to travel and/or work a flexible schedule including the possibility of on-call rotation

Our client will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen. The role is based full time in San Ramon California

- Robust understanding of database technologies and performance optimization
- Excellent written and verbal communication
