Precise i3 System Engineer - CHF1,000 a day Contract - English Speakin

Role: Application Performance Monitoring specialist

The application performance monitoring is a system that helps the firm's business critical application to meet their performance SLAs. The role is accountable for providing subject matter expertise in PRECISE I3, integration engineering of Precise i3 components into the company's standard Linux and Windows platforms.

THE JOB:

Describe what the candidate will need to accomplish in the role.

Deliver against the committed application performance monitoring book of work. Collaborate with the team engineering and third level support of the Credit Suisse Precise i3 platform:

- Troubleshooting and administration of Precise i3 solutions on Solaris, Linux and Windows
- Design and implementation of monitoring solutions based on Precise i3
- Installation and configuration of Precise i3 agents and infrastructure components
- Life cycle management for all Precise i3 solutions
- Acceptance tests and hand over to operations and other support teams
- Support applications with custom monitoring configuration consultation

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH THE FOLLOWING DEVELOPMENT AND/OR SUPPORT SKILLS:

- 2+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH PRECISE I3
- Know-how with on Solaris, Linux and Windows
- Ideally some certification or expertise in Oracle DBMS, SQL Server and/or Sybase
- Nice to have: Software engineering in Java/JEE or Microsoft .NET is
- Software packaging knowledge for Linux (RPM) and Windows (MSI) is a plus
- Excellent analytical troubleshooting skills and ability to own problems through to resolution.
- Team player and autonomous
- Fluent written and spoken English
