PRE TRIALS SUPPORT ENGINEER

3 MONTHS CONTRACT

LOCATION: Portsmouth, UK Jubail

The Pre -Trials Support Engineer will be responsible for the system integrity & support within the team prior to conducting informal

- Assess & report defects against ships systems using current configuration drawings in line with modifications/refit work packages to allow completion prior to successful acceptance events
- Review surveys reports & pre-refit trials to ensure defects identified have been completed, or work in hand to complete in line with MLU Master refit schedule
- Input to defect data base & issue to responsible personnel.
- Ensure that 'Production audit trail for trials are maintained whilst the work is undertaken and in preparation for trials/acceptance events.
- Working with the Pre Support Engineers and Trials Co-ordinator to confirm planned trials/inspections dates can be met by production.

DELIVERABLES:

- System defect report with action recommendations
- Priority defects against reports assessed
- Create & Input defects into suitable database & provide daily report of new defects identified/defects cleared.
- Summary of outstanding defects to support inspections & trials
