Practice Manager/Front Line Manager-Children's Services-HCPC-Child protection

A HCPC registered Practice Manager/Front Line Manager with experience of managing and supervising Social Workers within Children's Services with an understanding of longer case work in child protection cases and court case experience is urgently required to work with a local authority. The Practice Manager/Front Line Manager will be responsible for manager a team of social workers within children's services and will be responsible for ensuring that decision making within children's services is in accordance with statutory requirements, County Council policies, procedures and quality standards.

Essential Experience:

+Previous experience of managing Social Workers and providing guidance within Children's services.
+Knowledge or experience within the following areas of legislation, Children Act 1989, 2004 Adoption and Children Act 2002, public law outline.
+Knowledge of CAF, DOH Assessment Framework, Working Together and Safeguarding procedures and the Munro review.
+Knowledge of Integrated Children's Systems and the Ofsted Inspection framework.
+Experience of within casework management including complex case work and court work.
+Significant social work experience within a variety of childcare settings.
+Registered GSCC and Health and Care Profession's Councils (HCPC)
+A strong commitment to delivering high quality services to improve the outcomes for children.

Desirable Experience

+Experience of working within a local authority environment.
+Managerial experience, including service planning, local budgetary control and managing change.
+Qualifications and or training within safeguarding.
