Practice Manager - £197 - 3 Months

DEPARTMENT: Children's Services

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Responsible for day to day delegated management of services, within a specific service area, including the achievement of targets, and monitoring of quality.

Relevant professional Social Work qualification.

KNOWLEDGE

Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the following areas:

Relevant legislation including, Children Act 1989, 2004, Adoption and Children Act 2002, Public Law Outline.

CAF, DOH Assessment Framework, Working Together and safeguarding procedures, Munro review.

Integrated Children's System.

The Ofsted Inspection framework.

EXPERIENCE

Significant social work experience in a range of childcare settings.

Casework management of complex casework including court work.
- Staff supervision and enabling others.
